CLAIRE MULLER

Athlete: Claire Muller

Year: Senior

School: Roland Park Country School

Sport: Volleyball

Position: Outside Hitter

Highlights:  Claire is a senior volleyball player at Roland Park Country School.  She transferred to Roland Park her Sophomore year and has played varsity volleyball all three years.  She has also captained the team each year she has been at Roland Park and has exemplified an incredible leadership quality while doing so. So far this season Claire has lead the team with 37 kills over the first 6 conference games.  She has been an integral part of turning things around from a winless season last year to a current 6-0 record so far.

Coach Kell says "Claire is a natural leader with a strong work ethic and competitive spirit. Her balanced offensive and defensive skill set, positive attitude, and leadership on and off the court are invaluable to our program. Claire is a true pleasure to coach and I can't wait to see where she leads us this season."

Coach Slater says "Claire leads the team by example. She balances her competitive nature with a kind and compassionate heart. She has such a incredible dedication to her fellow teammates that she played this week's 3-1 win over AACS having been sick.  She is such a great joy to have on the team and will be very missed as she plans to study business with a minor in art and design. She not only exemplifies this with her dedication to her volleyball game but with her studies as well."

Claire has also been on Honor Roll every year thus far. She is the president of the Fellowship of Christians in Universities and Schools at RPCS.  She participates in Model UN and is in the Art Honors Society.

She has found fulfillment in volunteering at a homeless shelter and food kitchen in New York City and has a heart for the environment in which she has planted trees in the bays watershed.

Congratulations, Claire!!
