A Fan's Guide to IAAMsports.com

PASADENA, Md. — Since the soft launch of IAAMsports.com in April 2011 with our website partner PrestoSports, we have offered IAAM fans a variety of improved and additional features and exclusive content over other media outlets.

NO ADVERTISEMENTS

You asked, we listened.  With the exception of our unobtrusive carousel on the front page, IAAMsports.com is advertising free.  You will never have annoying pop-up windows, scrolling bars or inappropriate ads while trying to read content on our site.  Never.

MOBILE IAAMSPORTS.COM

Accessing the mobile version of our website is easy.  Point your browser to IAAMsports.com on your smartphone and you will be redirected to a version with all the same information, just optimized for mobile devices.

For more information on using the mobile site as an iPhone app, click here.

We will also be using QR (Quick Response) codes on our programs and publications this year.  QR codes are square barcodes that are designed to be read by smartphones and have websites, text or other data encoded.  For example, if you scan the code to the right, it will take you to our home page.

TWITTER

Follow us, @IAAMconnected.  We will post every release, update, score and other newsworthy items to Twitter.  It is also our first line of communication in the event of a postponed or canceled contest.

In all of our tweets, we use hashtags often.  The # symbol, called a hashtag, is used to mark keywords or topics in a Tweet and is a way to categorize messages and follow conversations.

When tweeting about IAAM athletics, the simplest hashtag to use is #YourSchoolName anywhere possible.  However, there are other IAAM and interscholastic athletics hashtags, please consider using:
