2011 IAAM Tennis Championships Begin Monday at McDonogh

PASADENA, Md. — The 2011 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) Tennis Championships begin Monday, Oct. 17 and will be hosted by The McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Md.

The singles competition will feature two flights with 10 players in the "A" conference and seven players in the "B" conference.  Opening round and quarterfinal matches begin at 2 p.m. Monday with the "A" quarterfinals and "B" semifinals on Tuesday.  "A" semifinal and "B" championship matches begin on Wednesday at 3 p.m. with the "A" championships concluding the four-day affair on Thursday at 3 p.m.

The doubles competition field consists of three flights of 10 and seven pairs in the "A" and "B" conferences, respectively.  Dates and times for the doubles matches coincide with their respective singles counterparts.

Building upon the success and excitement of live scoring of the Spring Championships, the IAAM is proud to announce that the same will be done for the Tennis Championships. Please follow the links above to follow the action live and in real time.
